I do realize that your social media news feeds are overwhelmed with the year results and still I wrote this. The photos of pre-HNY St Petersburg and Moscow are included to ease the pain. Continue reading “Reflection”
I’ve mentioned previously that I like inventing new words. As the 5th anniversary of Russian Universe is in just two months, I’ve decided to publish all the important RUneologisms from 2013 to 2017 in alphabetical order. Here they are: Continue reading “The Russian Universe Vocabulary”
It’s time to have a break from social media and/or probably abandon the most vicious ones. Of course, autoposting will continue – and that’s it for now. I’ve never been into Мордо(р)книга, i.e. Facebook but I did enjoy
Twatter Twitter. After we, Russians, elected Danila Trumpov aka Donald Trump, subverted every election one can possibly think of and pushed Western liberal democracies into a schizodelic Russomaniacal frenzy the mission is complete. It’s time to rest and spend sweet Putin’s money.
What do we have next?
Tumblr? You must be kidding!
Google+? See Tumblr.
Gab? Too autistic for me.
Minds? See Google+.
Pinterest? I shared pics from my blogs there.
Instagram? I use it from time to time to show pics of Russia that I take randomly.
Reddit? Better deaded than Reddit! See Minds.
I watch YouTube videos in English and Russian on politics and cultural topics, etc., but I don’t upload any content there.
VKontakte, which I liked at some point, is the most anti-free speech platform I can imagine – a VK landing page with an ‘inappropriate’ post can literally land you in jail. Facebook and Twitter still have a way to go in this regard. Big Brat never sleeps!
So I have 3 main platforms that I’d like to focus on:
This blog: RussianUniverse.org
My blog in Russian: Armeyskov.com
My Telegram channel (also in Russian): t.me/cargoculturology
As my 9 to 6 job turned into 9 [am] to 2 [am], I’ve decided to share some photos of Moscow to update the blog.
