Fyodor Tyutchev’s 210th Anniversary of Birth


Today is Fyodor Tyutchev‘s (1803-1873), one of the greatest Russian poets, 210th anniversary of birth.

Exhibition on Feminism: “International Women’s Day. Feminism: From Avant-garde to the Present.”


It is quite symbolic that the exhibition devoted to the International Women’s Day (IWD) was under Worker and Kolkhoz Woman (Rabochiy i Kolkhoznitsa), the landmark Soviet sculpture. Moreover, March 8, 2013, marked 100th anniversary of the first IWD in Russia.
